Summary

The platform enables you to download documents which have been filled under a Private Company on the UK Companies House.

What is this?

When you complete this action within the Source platform, a number of the filing documents will be retrieved from Companies House and listed under the “Requirements” tab of the Private Company that you are verifying.

What documents are retrieved?

The following documents can be retrieved from the UK Companies House:

1. Filings from the Last Two Years

All documents filed within the past two years from the date of the request.

2. Additional Key Documents

If the following documents are not part of the filings from the last two years, the most recent versions will be retrieved regardless of their age:

  • Confirmation Statement (with updates)
  • Incorporation Document
  • Full Accounts

How to action

  1. First, you will need to:
    1. Create a case for a Private Company or have a case where a Private Company entity is listed in the “Structure”
    2. Ensure you have entered the Company Registration Number
  2. Then, you will need to click on the Private Company under the “Manifest” tab and go to the “Requirements” tab
    1. Alternatively, you can set up a Compliance Rule that ensures this requirement appears under all Private Companies
  3. Click “Add” and add the “Filing History” requirement
  4. Click 'Sync filing history'
  5. Once it is loaded you will be able to look through the documents (please see the example screenshot below)

Tip: If you do not have the Company Registration Number, you can quickly confirm this via the Structure tab using the Name and Registered Country:

  1. Once the Private Company has been added to the case (with the Name and Registered Country), under the "Structure" tab click "Start unwrap"
  2. The "Search and confirm" window will open and you will be able to see the Registration Number for the entity listed
  3. Simply close the window if you do not wish to continue with the unwrap or click "Confirm" to proceed with the unwrap
