Company Unwrap Automation
The Company Unwrap automation helps streamline your case setup by automatically unwrapping a company’s structure as soon as a case is created or as soon as you click on the start unwrap button.
Setting up the automation
Navigate to the Automations tab in your Manifest Configuration.
Choose the number of layers down the shareholding structure you’d like the automation to process.
Save your changes.
Using Conditions with Automations
As with all automation rules, you can apply conditions to control when the unwrap is triggered. This is useful if:
You want to exclude specific jurisdictions (e.g. where unit consumption is high).
You only want to unwrap for certain entity types
This setup ensures the initial unwrap begins automatically, saving time and improving consistency across case.
How it works
To trigger the automation:
Select the correct country when creating the case
Enter the company registration number (e.g. for Australia, the ACN is recommended)
Once the case is submitted, the automation will begin unwrapping the company structure based on the configuration you’ve set.
Tip: Even if you don’t complete the full unwrap via automation, this is a great way to quickly get started. From there, you can manually choose how far down the shareholding structure you’d like to explore.
Troubleshooting Tips
If the company unwrap automation does not trigger as expected, check the following:
Make sure the company number is valid and entered in the correct format (e.g. ACN for Australian companies).
Ensure the country selected matches the company's jurisdiction.
If incorrect or incomplete information is entered, a slide-out panel will appear from the right-hand side of the screen. This allows you to manually search for the company and continue the unwrap process from there.
