Summary

The First AML Platform uses five case status to represent the lifecycle of a  case. These statuses being: Draft, In Progress, Ready for Review, Completed, and Abandoned.

Detailed Description

Case Statuses

Draft

Draft cases can only be created by the ‘Author’ user role.

Any case created by an ‘Author’ will be in a Draft status. This status is generally used as a way for the user to create a case that is not necessarily ready to be started and needs to be reviewed by another individual before moving it to In Progress.

Once the Draft case is ready to be actioned, the platform user can click ‘Submit case’ in the top right-hand corner to move the case to In Progress.

Draft cases can only be viewed byAuthor and  Compliance Admin user roles.

In Progress

For all user roles (apart from ‘Author’), when a case is created it will be marked as In Progress.

The In Progress status flags that a case is still being worked on by the relevant platform user(s) (e.g. waiting for clients to complete forms, reviewing Screening matches etc.).

Ready for Review

When a case is in  Ready for Review, the platform user has completed the customer due diligence steps and has sent a Ready for Review email to the relevant team member(s).

At this stage, all forms have been completed by the clients and all verifications have been run on the individuals and/or entities.

Please note that once a case has been moved to Ready for Review, no edits can be made to any individuals and/or entities in the case. Only the ‘Notes’ tab can be updated.

To make a case fully editable, click ‘Rework’ in the top right-hand corner to move the case back to In Progress.

Completed

A case is Completed, when the case has been reviewed and approved by the relevant person.

The completed status indicates that the information has been reviewed and meets your criteria for completing CDD and starting the relationship/transaction with the client.

Please note that once a case has been moved to Completed, no edits can be made to any individuals and/or entities in the case.

To make a case fully editable, click ‘Rework’ in the top right-hand corner to move the case back to In Progress.

Abandoned

If a case is showing as Abandoned, the case has been closed.

Generally, this status is used when a case is no longer required or the client does not wish to proceed.
