TABLE OF CONTENTS
You can send communications from the platform in several ways, depending on how you wish to share the ID form or secure webform with your clients.
ID Forms
You can send the ID form via email, secure webform, or SMS, or you can copy a link to send it yourself outside of the platform.
SMS ID forms must be sent manually, including both the initial and follow-up SMS. The second SMS must be sent at least 24 hours after the first one.
1. Sending the EIV email to the individual.
2. Sending the EIV SMS to the individual.
3. Copying the EIV link to be able to send this in an email outside of the Source platform
Secure webforms
Secure webforms can be sent directly from the platform or by copying the form link and sending it through your own external communication channels, such as your business email.
1. Sending the secure webform from Source
2. Copying the secure webform link to be able to send this in an email outside of the Source platform
You are able to copy the secure webform link to send to a recipient outside of the case or user list. It is required to enter both their email and their name. The correct name is important to ensure you are aware of who has answered the questions/uploaded the documents.
Automated Email Follow Ups
Emails sent from the platform can include automated follow ups. These can run on the default cadence (days 2, 4, 7, and 10) or a custom cadence that you’ve chosen. More on Automated reminders
Note: If you choose to use a copy link and send it through your own email, these cases will not be included in the automated reminders. You will need to manually follow up with your client, as Source cannot track or send reminders for communications sent outside the platform.
