TABLE OF CONTENTS

Summary

Verification reports display detailed information about how and when a verification was completed. This includes whether checks were newly run, retrieved from existing data, or reinterpreted based on a different verification type.

Verification reports now clearly outline the timing and type of verification performed, helping you understand:

  • How the report was generated: whether checks were newly run, reinterpreted, or retrieved.
  • When the checks were run: the actual time the underlying verification checks were executed.
  • When the report was generated: the time the report was created.
  • Which Verification type was used: the verification type used to generate the report (e.g. KYC only or KYC + ID anti-tampering).

This information is displayed in a table at the top of each verification report for both entities and individuals.

Table Layout

The verification report table includes the following columns:

LabelDescription
How report was generatedIndicates whether the report was generated as a New check, Reinterpreted, or Retrieved report.
Checks runThe date and time when the verification checks were executed.
Report generatedThe date and time when the report was generated or reissued.

Each label (New check, Reinterpreted, Retrieved) is displayed as a badge for quick identification.

Badge Definitions

BadgeMeaning
New checkA new report has been generated with fresh checks performed on all information, in line with the selected verification type.
ReinterpretedThe verification level (VIC) was changed, and existing checks were reinterpreted according to the new verification type.
RetrievedThe individual or entity was retrieved, and a report has been generated using the existing checks. No new checks were performed.

Each badge includes a tooltip (shown on hover) that provides a short explanation of how the report was generated.

Tooltips and Timing Details

  • Tooltips appear when hovering over badges, giving additional context about how each report was generated.
  • Check run times may differ if checks were reused or reinterpreted, each run time is displayed with a tooltip clarifying what action occurred at that time.
  • This helps clarify cases where multiple verification events (retrievals or reinterpretations) occur for the same individual or entity.

Where It Appears

The verification report summary table appears:

  • At the top of each verification report, showing the generation details for the currently displayed report.
  • On both entity and individual screens, ensuring consistent visibility of verification activity across all report types.
